Jeff Sweet, CSCS

Jeff is a 2006 graduate of Alma College where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Science. Certified through the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Jeff has been training athletes from many sports including soccer, football, baseball, rowing, track and field, and volleyball for 5 years.

During his high school career, Jeff rowed for the Westerville Rowing Club in Ohio all 4 years during which he broke (and still holds) the 2,000m record at a time of 6:21.15. Having replaced rowing practice with training for Strongman, Jeff won his first competition – King of the Mountain Showdown - in June of 2008. Continuing competing, Jeff took 4th place in the Strongest Man In The Valley in 2008, 5th place in the Clash of the Titans in 2009, 2nd place in Slippery RockUniversity’s Strongest Man in 2009, qualifying him for North American Strongman Nationals for the 2009 season. Outside of competition, some of Jeff’s best lifts are a 620 pound axle deadlift, flipping a 1,330 pound tire, and a double 345 pound atlas stone load.

A thorough understanding of strength training modalities coupled with unique methods and a great passion for naturally increasing athletic performance set Jeff apart from the competition. Whether it is your first time entering the field of competitive athletics or are a veteran looking for the extra training edge, Jeff can help you achieve your goals.
