Dr. Paul Glodzik


Dr. Paul Glodzik is a graduate of both the State University of New York at Buffalo and the National University of Health Sciences. He is certified as Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a USA weightlifting coach and has worked as a Sports Performance coach with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Football team, Ashburn Extreme Junior Hockey teams, Virginia Wild Junior Hockey teams and athletes involved in volleyball, golf, triathlons, cycling and track and field.

Dr. Glodzik is the team chiropractor for the Potomac Athletic Club, DC Slayers Rugby League Club and the Washington DC Furies Women’s Rugby Club. Dr. Glodzik has also been certified as an Active Release Technique provider. He is in the process of becoming certified as a Kinesio Tape Practitioner. Dr. Glodzik has been a race doctor for the DC Marathon, DC Triathlon, and the GW Parkway 10 miler. He has also worked as the doctor for the Capital Pegasus girl’s in-door field hockey team tournament.

While in chiropractic school he was the Pathology Fellow responsible for teaching the Pathology lab required to graduate. Dr. Glodzik was one of only four students that were awarded a fellowship while completing his studies. He was also a research associate in the Biomechanics lab where he participated in the study of forces needed to effect joint mechanics during an adjustment. As an undergraduate he also worked as a research associate studying the effects of increased fats or carbohydrates in the diet of female athletes on exhaustive exercise.

Dr. Glodzik is currently a member of both the Potomac Athletic Club Rugby Club of the US Super League and the DC Slayers Rugby League Club of the AMNRL. He is an avid cyclist and Olympic weightlifter. While playing he was selected to the 2002 and 2003 Mid-Atlantic Select Side that participates in the Inter-territorial Tournament. This tournament is used as an assessment tool by the US National team to select players for International matches. As an undergraduate he was a two-sport athlete playing both rugby and ice hockey. Dr. Glodzik played hockey throughout his childhood as a member of the Amherst (NY) Knights.
